LINEBERRY RESEARCH ASSOCIATES ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS
Research Triangle Park, NC, June 3, 1997 -- Lineberry Research Associates (LRA), a pharmaceutical research and consulting firm in Research Triangle Park, NC, announces the following promotions: Ashish Singh, Ph.D. to Senior Clinical Research Scientist and Constance Douglas, M.S. to Clinical Research Scientist.
"These promotions complement a continuously growing staff at LRA. Our client base is expanding not only in depth but in specialty areas as well, and promotion of key staff members ensures their experience and leadership will be passed on to our clients," said Charles Lineberry, Ph.D., President of LRA.
Ashish Singh, Ph.D. has been with LRA since August, 1996 and brings a broad command of pharmaceuticals which serves to benefit LRA's expanding expertise and client base. In his new capacity, Dr. Singh will utilize his strong scientific background and proven management skills to serve as project leader on various client projects.
Dr. Singh holds a Ph.D. in pharmacology. He is a registered pharmacist with four years post-doctoral experience in behavioral pharmacology and with five years of clinical experience. He joined LRA from Glaxo Wellcome Inc.
Ms. Constance Douglas, M.S. will be leading clinical trial projects, from start to culmination, and supervising the completion of final study reports. Ms. Douglas has particular knowledge of CNS disorders, but continues to expand that knowledge base to include other therapeutic areas.

Ms. Douglas has over 16 years of laboratory and clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She joined LRA in July of 1996 and brings extensive clinical monitoring experience. Most recently, she was a senior monitor at an area contract research organization. Prior to that, Ms. Douglas spent 10 years with Burroughs Wellcome Co.
