Research Triangle Park, NC (August 21, 1998) -- Lineberry Research Associates (LRA), a pharmaceutical research and consulting firm in Research Triangle Park, NC, was named last night as the 13th fastest growing technology company in North Carolina. LRA, and 49 other health care and information technology companies, were honored at an awards ceremony as part of the fourth annual NC Tech 50 program. The NC Tech 50 program recognizes the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the state.

To compete in the NC Tech 50 program, companies must have been in business for at least three years. LRA qualified as a finalist in the program in its first year of eligibility.

"We were excited just to be a part of the Tech 50 elite, but we were thrilled to learn of our ranking as #13," said Charles Lineberry, Ph.D., President of LRA. "We credit both our staff and our clients for their respective roles in creating LRA's success. We also were especially pleased to see LRA take top honors in the life sciences category which included six other biotechnology and contract clinical research organizations."
